Our limits define the borders of our dependence upon grace.
Knowing your limits is essential for good leadership. For being effective. For being able to let go of outcomes. For making it for the long haul. For maintaining your humanity in the midst of the machine.
You can only do what you can do — that will be good enough. The rest is grace — that will make up for what ever your good-enoughness might lack. This is all very good news for those who are able to hear it.
Do you see where you end? That is where God begins.
