Giving Testimony

G

Is a divine activity. It’s what Jesus did. It’s what he sent the Spirit to do. It’s what disciples do.

Giving testimony is simply telling the truth. The truth of what you saw, what you heard, what you tasted, touched and smelled. The honest, unembellished description of your experience.

It’s not an argument. It’s not a counter-argument. It’s not evaluating or giving a rebuttal to someone else’s testimony. It’s not cleverly crafting your story in anticipation of other people’s criticisms or questions.

The truth, coming from your mouth, telling the story of your life following Jesus, is all the testimony that anyone really wants to hear.
