(A response to Seth Godin: Ask A Busy Person)
You might know one. They are a bit of a rarity in our culture, but you can find them if you know where to look.
The unbusy person has a bias for action that is matched by the ability to rest. They often have a willingness to contribute more than is required, yet are honest about their limits. (If you swing at everything your accuracy decreases as you tire, and eventually your arms will completely give out, right?) The opportunities they don’t take are dwarfed by the impact they create when they choose to act.
Being an unbusy person is a choice.
Has busy really worked for you? Maybe try unbusy out for a while.
We need more unbusy people.
