I Don’t Know Is The Best Answer

I

To most big questions most of the time.

Followed by, “What do you think, God?”

Followed by, “What do you think, friend?”

Followed by, “Could we sit with this together for a while?”

Followed by, “Who else might we invite into the conversation?”

Followed by, “What is the deepest me saying to me now, after all that?”

The important thing is to keep asking questions. To keep saying, “I don’t know,” when that’s the honest answer. To keep waiting in silence, trusting God to bring clarity when, where, and however it’s needed.
