They are the context. Our fellow missionaries. Our community are our comrades. Mission is empowered and sustained by relationships.
There is a natural (necessary?) tension between the two. In / out. Intimacy / invitation. Inward care / outward compassion. Support / impact. Gathered / scattered.
The local church exists within this tension.
