The rationale for faith that works for one person may not work for someone else.
The evidence that convinces one person to believe may not be as strong to someone else.
One person’s pace in believing may be faster or slower than someone else.
The witness one person deems credible someone else may be hesitant to accept.
What one person sees as super obvious may be obscure to someone else.
There is no script. There is no silver bullet. One size does not fit all. So be patient with one another. Listen carefully. Answer even more carefully. Don’t take it personally when someone doesn’t take your word for it. Allow the community of faith to speak louder than any one individual. Give grace to those who persist in asking hungry questions.
Faith is like a variety show in which we all do our best to get on stage to perform our own wild and unique improv. Cheer one another on.
